Jessica began exploring yoga  17 years ago and over the years it has become an essential part of her life journey and much more than a physical practice. Feeling stressed and off-course in 2011 she bowed out of the corporate world  to explore her creativity, yoga and meditation while taking the journey from her head to her heart.

Jessica's practice seeks to balance the integrity of the Yin (Feminine) and Yang (Masculine) natures within us. In order to nurture more balance in the Yang environment of modern society; her focus is on the more receptive, nurturing and passive Yin aspect. 

The Yin qualities of her practices create deeper relaxation allowing the body to naturally restore itself. Ample periods of holding postures enable feelings of resistance to be released and stretch out tightness as we surrender to the teachings of the breath.

Through Hatha, Yin, Restorative and Kundalini Yoga along with Gong baths and Tibetan Singing Bowls her classes cultivate an awareness of the formless; the breath, the energy channels and the fluctuations of the mind and emotions to restore balance and presence while gently guiding our bodies to stretch beyond limited perceptions of possibility and release the build up of tension in the body-mind.


On Teaching


I have come to realise wisdom comes from one's own life experiences, hence life is my greatest teacher and I walk my own path.

I share practices that have brought me closer to myself; cultivating awareness and compassion. Like every other human being alive, I am always learning and the path isn't always easy.

My role as a yoga teacher is to create a safe neutral space for you to have your own experience and it is my sincere hope that on that journey you discover and experience who you truly are.
